While school is almost out, incredible art is in! MartinArts honors the Treasure Coast’s remarkably talented young artists with the “Marvin S. Cone Thirty-Seventh Annual High School Juried Art Show,” on view now through June 3.

Unveiled April 25, the annual high school juried art show is one of the most treasured happenings of the cultural season year and has honored the area’s student artists since 1987. This is a capstone educational experience for the participating artists.

Student art works are on view in the professional gallery of the Court House Cultural Center. Keeping with its storied tradition, the displayed pieces were selected by experienced judges for ribbons and cash awards across several mediums. The exhibition showcases the creativity and ingenuity of art students at South Fork High School, Martin County High School, Jensen Beach High School, The Pine School, and Clark Advanced Learning Center. MartinArts will host an awards reception May 4, kicking off at 5:30 p.m. During the reception, notable community members will present their “purchase awards,” and judges will present awards across several categories, including painting, drawing, photography, and sculpture. A donation of $5 is appreciated to attend.
