Man uses eggs to 'fix racism' in viral tweet

A Twitter user has gone viral with a clever metaphor about racism which uses just a pair of eggs and a frying pan.

User @j0eymccullough took to the social media website on Saturday to post a pair of pictures, both of which include two eggs - the first showing the eggs as a whole, with one white in color, while the other is brown.

The second image shows both eggs having been cracked open and sizzling side by side in the frying pan.

In the caption for the images, he included a deep - albeit quite misspelled - message, reading: 'Black or white, we all jus some egg fr' - or, 'Black or white, we are all just some eggs frying.'

The tweet quickly attracted plenty of attention, with some declaring it to be the perfect metaphor for these contentious times.

'I can't believe this man just fixed racism,' joked one user.

Another added: 'Where's this man's Nobel peace prize.'

A teacher even chimed in to reveal that she 'used this technique few months ago on my students to show a simple way of understanding that we're all still the same on the inside.'

Of course, not everyone was so impressed, with some choosing to joke about the actual differences between brown and white eggs.

'But as we all know the brown egg is healthier,' wrote one, while another added: 'But I buy the brown cause it says it's farm raised.'

'If only it was this simple!' remarked one realistic user.
