The Shakespeare in Love star revealed in March 2023 she was following an anti-inflammatory diet under her doctor’s guidance to deal long-Covid.

‘So, lots of cooked vegetables, all kinds of protein, healthy carbs to really lower inflammation. It’s been working really well,’ she contended, adding, ‘This is based on my medical results and extensive testing that I’ve done over time.’

On the The Art of Being Well podcast, with Dr. Will Cole, the wellness guru explained, she also exercises for an hour every day. ‘So I’ll either take a walk or I’ll do Pilates or I’ll do my Tracy Anderson’ toning workout.

The American Institute for Cancer Research reported ‘Scientific evidence shows that eating mostly plant-based foods — whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and beans — plays a big role in preventing cancer and contributing to a healthier life.’

‘That’s because plant-based foods are high in the types of fiber, nutrients, and phytochemicals (natural substances) that may help to prevent cancer. Plus, plant-foods can help you manage your weight, and give you the energy you need to enjoy physical activity.’
